CSD means hundreds of thousands flooding Berlin’s streets in a joyful protest for queer rights . This year, the Unleashed.Berlin crew will be right there in the heart of it all, championing diversity by day and throwing the biggest, kinkiest afterparty by night.
From marching amid rainbow flags to dancing under strobe lights, we’re on a mission to unleash the spirit of Pride at every turn. Unleashed.Berlin has always believed in blending techno beats with total freedom, and CSD 2025 is the perfect occasion to live that ethos out loud. Here’s how we’re celebrating Pride – Berlin-style, Unleashed-style – from the daytime parade to an all-night afterparty.
Pride and Protest: What is Christopher Street Day?
Christopher Street Day has its roots in the Stonewall riots of 1969 in NYC’s Greenwich Village – the uprising that ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement . Named after the street where those protests began, CSD has become Germany’s version of Pride: a vibrant parade and demonstration rolled into one. In Berlin, the first CSD took place in 1979 with just 450 brave souls marching for visibility . Fast forward to today, and around one million people join the Berlin CSD parade each year – a massive sea of rainbow flags, music, and celebration filling the capital.
But Pride isn’t just about the party – it’s also a powerful protest. The official CSD motto for 2025 is “Never silent again!” – a clear stand against discrimination and a demand for lasting equality. Unleashed on the Streets: Parading with Pride
When the CSD parade kicks off at 12:00 noon on July 26 , you’ll find the Unleashed.Berlin crew right in the middle of the action. We’ll be marching, dancing, and soaking up that high-energy Pride atmosphere in full fetish-friendly flair. Look out for us – we’ll be the ones with the big smiles (and perhaps some chains) handing out our special “Unleash Your Pride” nipple stickers to the crowd. We’ve got hundreds of these stickers (about 300–400 to be exact) ready to give away, so you can proudly – and literally – wear your Pride on your body! Consider it our little gift to help everyone feel unapologetically sexy and free during the celebration.

After Dark at Insomnia: The Ultimate CSD Afterparty
When evening falls, the celebrations are far from over – in fact, we’re just getting started. Unleashed.Berlin’s CSD Afterparty kicks off extra early at 20:00 (8 PM) on July 26 at the Insomnia nightclub. Insomnia is famed as one of Berlin’s most hedonistic destinations in the kink and sex-positive scene – the perfect playground for our Pride-night revelry. We’re transforming the club into a two-floor expirance: seven DJs spinning from dusk till dawn, with two dancefloors including a dedicated dungeon floor that opens at 22:00 for those who want to truly unleash their kinky side.
Expect a stellar lineup that blends Berlin’s finest techno talent with international guest stars. We’ve got a mix of local scene DJs and international acts on deck. In total, 7 DJs across 2 floors will be keeping you moving all night . The main floor will deliver high-octane beats and melodic techno bliss, while downstairs in the dungeon you’ll find a different vibe – intimate, edgy and irresistibly danceable (if you need a change of pace, just slip downstairs; different styles and DJs await ). Whether you’re raving to peak-time techno on the main floor or exploring the darker, sultrier sounds below, the energy will be through the roof. Let your wildest side guide you on the dancefloor, in the dungeon or wherever it takes you – this night is all about freedom to party your way.
And of course, we have some extra Pride treats in store. The first 100–200 partygoers through the door will get a free pair of our “Unleash Your Pride” nipple stickers. So come early – not only to claim your sticker souvenir, but to soak in every moment of this unleashed night. We’re starting the afterparty earlier than usual so you can come in straight from the parade, still buzzing with that Pride energy. Feel free to keep rocking your sexy/kinky CSD outfit, or slip into something even kinkier for the night – latex, leather, harnesses, chains, glitter, whatever makes you feel fierce and free. In true Unleashed.Berlin fashion, our dress code is “come as your sexy, confident self” (think Berlin techno chic meets fetish flair). By 10 PM, Insomnia’s dungeon will be in full swing for those eager to mix dancing with play. Whether you spend your time strutting on the main floor or exploring the club’s naughty corners, you’re in for an unforgettable, sex-positive night of techno, intimacy, and pure Pride vibes.
